The second annual Peacock Ball will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Rachel D. Murrah Civic Center in Winter Park.

This year the ball will celebrate the lives of four remarkable ladies who have made a lasting impact on our town: Rose Bynum, a champion of the city's westside, Peggy Strong, a long time preservationist and wife of a former mayor and mother of our present one, Eleanor Fisher, founder of the Winter Park Historical Association, and Eula Pearl Jenkins, singer and educator.

The evening will feature a live auction and dancing to the Buzzcats. Tickets are $150/person. For reservations and information, please call 407-647-0698.
