Funding and Partnerships

The Association receives support from the City of Winter Park, as well as membership dues, proceeds from an endowment fund, in-kind services, donations, various project-oriented grants, and support from the State of Florida, Historical Museums Grants-In Aid program. Grants have been received from the Florida Humanities Council, United Arts, and the Rotary Club of Winter Park. The Association is a member of the Central Florida Historical Consortium, a five-county organization formed to share information and ideas, and to partner on exhibits and outreach. The Association is also a founding member of the Winter Park Cultural Consortium.

The Association is a member of several professional organizations: Society of Florida Archivists, The American Association of State and Local History, Florida Association of Museums, and the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. The Association is a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
